Vegetarian Chili Seasoning Mix

Ingredients

  • 1½ tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons granulated onion
  • 1½ teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic

Instructions

  • Stir ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • Store in a small bag or container for up to 6 months.

Notes

Tips:
  • 1  seasoning mix will season 1 pound of beans, which makes about 8 cups.
  • Because this mix contains salt, I find it’s best to create individual premeasured mixes instead of a bulk mix which is kept in one container and taken out as needed. Otherwise, the salt tends to settle and would not be evenly distributed.
